Travel & Accommodations

Travel & accommodation information is provided by the local planning committee here and provided below.

Congress Location

Sala Anfiteatro (“Marchetti”)
Centro di ricerca Codivilla-Putti
Via di Barbiano 1/10, 40136 Bologna
Separate entrance at street number 1/13 Via di Barbiano

How to get there

From Marconi Airport, we recommend the Marconi Express (Timetables available at the dedicated website), which arrives at Central Station, from which you can then take TPER’s dedicated Shuttle A.

From Bologna Central Station, exiting Via Carracci (High Speed exit), it will be possible to take the dedicated TPER Shuttle A.

Codivilla-Putti Research Center is served by TPER’s Shuttle A (penultimate stop: “Research Center”). Shuttle A departs from the Central Station (exit High Speed – Via Carracci) or from the Autostazione. Follow the link for route and schedule information from the TPER website.

A paid parking lot is located at the Research Center, in the Polyclinic area. The parking lot consists of two zones: – the metered parking lot A in front of the Outpatient Clinic; – parking lot B, equipped with 133 paid parking spaces (collecting machine inside the facility) and 52 free motorcycle spaces. Parking lot B is open from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays, the parking lot is equally open, but the door along the access path between the parking lot and the outpatient clinic is closed. The fee in both parking lots is 1 euro per hour, for a maximum of 6 euros (with 6 euros, parking is allowed for the entire day).
